About Us

Magalia Community Park is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2020 to help jumpstart the recovery of the Upper Ridge by creating Magalia’s first Community Center and repurposing the land that was formerly home to the Paradise Pines Golf Course.

Magalia Community Center provides 2000 square feet of meeting and event space and serves as a resiliancy hub in times of local emergencies. Available for rent for private parties. Programs offered include monthly youth activities, health and wellness activities including adult exercise classes, a resource center, and community forums. The grounds are used for summer concerts, festivals, and holiday events. The adjoining 40 acres were converted into South Pines Disc Golf, a new 18-hole disc golf course and the only one of it's kind on the Ridge. 2 mile pedestrian trail, pro shop on site, Izzy's Bar and Grill next door.
