Volunteer to build gardens on the burn scar

We are blessed to be able to offer all 50 gardens as scholarships due to the very generous North Valley Community Foundation and Butte Strong Fund. So...funding: Check. We have over 60+ and counting applications for gardens. So that's another part taken care of. Interest and need: Check. Now we need YOU and your teams (with a truck to haul the stuff to make the gardens) signed up to help with installations.We need volunteers to help install gardens for our Garden BLITZ On The Burn Scar on Aug. 22, 23, 29 and 30. "Burn Scar" means the gardens will be installed in Concow, Pulga, Paradise, Magalia and anywhere that burned in the Camp Fire. Although not required, it’s best if you get a team of 3-4 folks (with one person who has a truck) for installations so you know you are COVID safe. You can also sign up by yourself or just one friend. Half shifts (two gardens or 2.5ish hours) and Full Shifts (3-4 gardens or 3.5-5ish hours) are available.
