Upper Ridge Community Council: Monthly Meeting

Lisa Strange, Northern California Outreach Manager for the California Dept. of Insurance (Commissioner Lara's Office) will be the featured speaker. She will be joining virtually. While she will be speaking & taking questions about all things insurance, she will also be discussing an new initiative from the Dept. of Insurance called "Safer from Wildfires."
 
Joshua Pack from Butte County Public Works will also be speaking about major road improvement projects being planned for the Magalia area (good timing in light of the current major road construction in the lower POA). Wade Killingsworth and Katie Battaglia will present on projects that the Butte County Fire Safe Council is working on within the POA, PID and other areas of the Upper Ridge, and Supervisor Doug Teeter will provide a general county update. As always, there will also be some community announcements & updates from both Magalia Community Center and the Paradise Pines Property Owners Association.
