Traditional Educational Knowledge Native Seed Workshop

The Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) Native Seed Workshop is a collaboration between TEK Chico & the Camp Fire Restoration Project to begin a living native seed bank on the Ridge. This workshop will be a crash course in basic seed anatomy, gathering and processing seeds, learning about fire-adapted seeds and where, how, and why to plant them. Light refreshments will be provided. It is recommended you bring your own drink vessel, snacks, closed toed shoes, hat, trowel, notebook, and pen. Donations for event are accepted but not expected.
