The Town of Paradise will hold a public listening session on Thursday March 21st from 4-6 pm at the Paradise Alliance Church at 6491 Clark Rd. to get input from the residents of Paradise about the vision for Paradise’s future. Join us as our long-term planning consultant Urban Design Associates (UDA) leads a discussion of Paradise residents on what they would like to see as Paradise rebuilds. This is the second of a series of listening sessions that will allow the residents of Paradise to set the vision for rebuilding of our community. The meeting with a brief overview of the planning process and schedule for upcoming meetings. After that, participants will break into smaller groups to discuss ideas for the future of Paradise. The small groups will report back to the larger group to wrap up the meeting at noon. UDA is an experienced planning firm that has worked in areas affected by disaster, including Hurricane Katrina. Their expertise has been generously provided by the Butte Strong Fund through the North Valley Community Foundation. UDA is known for their process of “designing by ear” where they first listen to the community before providing planning options. The plan to rebuild Paradise will be led by our residents. Join us on Thursday March 21st, and let’s work together to Make it Paradise!
