Join us for an Economic Update & Outlook Post Camp and Carr Fires. Featuring economist Dr. Robert Eyler, President, Economic Forensics and Analytics and Professor of Economics at Sonoma State University, with updates from local leaders. Dr. Eyler will discuss the economic impact of the Camp and Carr fires, as well as data on the state of the local economy with a perspective of critical indicators to watch during disaster recovery. The presentation will also include a current look at national and state trends, outlining the “four things you need to know” at the state level and an overview of the five stages of recovery. Dr. Eyler will also explore lessons learned from the Sonoma and Napa County fires, and discuss the North State recovery compared to other fire-survivor areas. Updates from local leaders will round out the morning, followed by a question and answer period. Event is hosted by the North State Planning and Development Collective and sponsored in part by Shasta College, Rabobank, CMTC, Rural County Representatives of California and Redding Bank of Commerce.
