ALICE DI MICELE TO PLAY AT THE MUSEUM OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ART Sensual and soulful singer-songwriter Alice Di Micele will return to Chico to play at the Museum of Northern California Art (monca) on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 7 PM. With a vocal and musical range that goes far beyond folk into jazz, rock, blues, and R&B, southern Oregon’s Alice Di Micele has enchanted audiences for more than three decades with her smoky vocals and accomplished, percussive guitar. Alice will be accompanied for this very special show by bassist Rob Kohler, best known for his work with the band This World and a bass instructor at the Stanford Jazz Workshop. Concert-goers will be surrounded at monca by the exhibition “Sisko Lives,” the art of legendary Chico artist David Sisk, aka Sisko. Doors open at 6:30 PM.? Seating is limited. Tickets are $20, available online at Eventbrite.com or at the door if not sold out. Call 530-877-4995 or email paradiseguilds@gmail.com for more information.
