Paradise Lighted Truck Parade

Come rain or shine, the Annual Truck Light Parade and Canned Food Drive will be taking place again in Paradise CA on Saturday, December 5th, 2026.

Parade Contestants: Staging will be in the True Value Hardware Parking Lot (6848 Skyway, Paradise CA – just as it is done for Gold Nugget Days) with the registration desk opening at 3:30 P.M. in front of Paradise Stronger (Suite P). All trucks register at the Paradise Stronger entrance. Due to the volume of entries, there is no pre-registration.

PLEASE BRING PROOF OF AUTO INSURANCE WHEN YOU REGISTER! PER PARADISE PD: ALL OFF-ROAD VEHICLES MUST BE BACK ON TRAILERS AFTER THE PARADE; ALL LIGHTS RETURNED TO STANDARD HEADLIGHT AND RUNNING LIGHTS AFTER THE PARADE.

Judging begins at 4:30 P.M. Trophies will be presented before the parade starts just after dark (Approximately 6:30 PM) – listen for the bullhorn calling drivers to the registration table for the trophy awards. Entrance fee for the parade is non-perishable, non-expired food. We are strongly requesting, along with the Paradise PD, that you do not throw anything from your vehicle during the parade! It is just too risky for the children in the dark. For the safety of everyone, please watch the parade from the parade route.

This year, it is a ONE-WAY PARADE from True Value Hardware, south on Skyway to Pearson, left on Pearson where the parade will disperse at Clark Rd.

PLEASE NOTE: Skyway at Maxwell to Pearson and Pearson to Clark Rd as well as ALL side streets on the parade route will be closed at 5:30 PM. Please make plans to be in place on the parade route before 5:30 PM! The streets will be reopened at approximately 7:30 PM after ALL parade contestants have passed.

Volunteers are needed the day of the parade as well as the day after to pack up food for distribution to the food banks.
