Ready for Enloe’s Mothers Stroll? This year, community members can participate in person or virtually — and help raise healthy families. About 10% of pregnant women and 13% of women who have just given birth experience a mental disorder, according to the World Health Organization. The free event takes place during World Breastfeeding Week. Folks can participate in person at DeGarmo Park on Aug. 7 from 10-11:30 a.m. or virtually anytime from Aug. 1-7 by doing a physical activity of their choice and submitting their activity log. The in-person event will feature a walk and health fair with several community resources, including Enloe’s Mother & Baby Education Center, Enloe Behavioral Health, Mothers Strong, Women, Infants and Children (WIC), North Valley Indian Health, and Butte County Public Health. To register, visit www.enloe.org/events.
