BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – Butte County Public Health (BCPH), in partnerships with Enloe Medical Center and Walmart, announces mobile COVID-19 community vaccination clinics for the month of August.
As of July 26, 2021, 45.9% of Butte County residents eligible for the vaccine (ages 12 and older) have been fully vaccinated and 52% have received at least one dose.
Vaccinations remains the best way to protect yourself from COVID-19, including the delta variant. All available vaccines proved strong protection against serious illness. Full protection against the virus occurs two weeks after receiving both doses of an mRNA vaccine. For those who have missed their second dose, BCPH urges you to get your second vaccine as soon as possible, even if it is outside the recommended timeframe.
