Mendon's Nursery Closing Sale
To the most wonderful customers a business could ever ask for (and that's the truth!), a huge THANK YOU to all who have supported us through these trying times since November 8, 2018, through facebook posts, phone calls, text messages, emails, letters, hugs, tears, smiles, and prayers. It has been our pleasure over the past 43 years, as the Mendon Family and all of our fantastic employees, of having you walk the nursery grounds and enjoy the beauty that nature has to offer. We have enjoyed helping you create a little "Paradise" in your own landscapes and gardens. You have been instrumental in helping us expand our selection of plant species offered for sale by seeking those rare or unusual or newest introductions in the plant world. We have enjoyed developing friendships with so many of you.
Mendon's Nursery was impacted heavily, but not completedly by the fire. Some areas of the nursery are completely gone; others look like nothing happened on that day in November.The encouragement of so many of you for us to come back after the fire has truly been overwhelming. Life changing events like this require thoughtful, sometimes life changing decisions to be made.
So with a sincere sadness, we have made the decision to close the gates at Mendon's Nursery. But before we do for good, we have many plants, pottery, and other products that need a good home. So on Friday, March 15th, we will begin our clearance / close out sale. All items will be 50% off, with some reduced even more. Our hours will be 8:30 to 5:00, Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays as always), and we will remain open until everything has a place to belong. If there is severe weather, and a question about whether we will be open, please call. Any days where there is a necessity to be closed, we will do our best to post it.
Even if you don't have a need for any items we have to offer, we would truly enjoy having you stop just to say hi.
We are having some Mendon's Nursery hats made to remember the great run we have had in our beloved Paradise. And we will be donating the proceeds to a worthy cause on the Ridge. The hats will be available for sale during our sale. In the next few days, we will post a picture of the hats and where we will be donating the proceeds to .
