Not including skin cancers, colorectal cancer is the third-most common cancer diagnosed in men and women, and the third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States, according to the American Cancer Society. Yet many people are unaware of this. Luckily, there is hope. In 2018, the American Cancer Society made significant changes to its screening recommendations for colorectal cancer in an ongoing effort to save lives.
