Facebook Live:Breathing New Life into Cancer Detection

Facebook Live: Breathing New Life into Cancer Detection Cancer has a specific odor, and “Enloe” the dog is learning how to sniff it out. The yellow Labrador, purchased by Enloe Medical Center to support the research of the Chico nonprofit In Situ Foundation, has been training for more than two years. Learn more and see the loveable pup on Facebook on Sept. 26 at noon. He’ll be joined by his trainer Dina Zaphiris, In Situ Foundation’s founder and CEO, as well as one of his owners, Traci Hunt, the director of the Enloe Regional Cancer Center, and Rebecca Senoglu, Enloe Medical Center’s Cancer Support Program coordinator. Hear what the training entails and how local families are helping. Follow Enloe Medical Center on Facebook at www.facebook.com/enloe.medical/ to view the discussion.
