Community Tree Planting

The goal is to make the park a beautiful and useful community space for many years to come while focusing on native, drought tolerant, and firewise trees. This event is organized in partnership with Paradise Recreation and Park District, Butte Environmental Council, and the Camp Fire Restoration Project. 

The collective organizations have over 200 trees to plant of various species and sizes including Blue Oak, Black Oak, Ponderosa Pine, Incense Cedar, and many more! A lot of help is needed getting these trees in the ground and setting them up to thrive for many years, and we would love to have any help possible for either one or both days.
