Community Gardening 101 Series: Growing Your Own Edible Citrus Trees and Fall Citrus

Join Deja Vu Gardens Galore Nursery in an interactive lecture and a Q & A Forum to engage discussion on the knowledge of the best Citrus Trees in our area! We encourage you to bring a neighbor to discuss the possibility of a shared landscape cost on neighboring property lines. This event is hosted in partnership with Neighbor-to-Neighbor.

Purpose

The engagement of participants will bring social connections and reassure our participants they are not alone in this endeavor; furthermore, we are all in this together. Don't forget to bring a neighbor to discuss the possibility of shared landscapes.

Role

All participants will be provided with name tags, and we will conduct a Bingo Card prior to beginning the class: The first Bingo Card Winner will receive a $25 Gift Certificate for Déjà Vu Nursery. Participants will learn about trees, how to select the best citrus varieties in our area, prepare the soil for planting, fertilizing, pruning, proper care during the winter months, and everything else in between!
