Common Problems Encountered with QuickBooks Desktop Accounting Accurate bookkeeping is critical for successfully managing your business; therefore, taking the time to understand how to correctly use your accounting program is key for your business financial success. This 2-hour workshop is for individuals who have already set up their QuickBooks Desktop system, have been working with the system for 6 months or more, and need help with ensuring that they are using the system correctly (i.e., performing the necessary reconciliations, matching and categorization properly). We will cover reconciling your bank and credit card accounts to your ledgers, problems with categorizations vs. matching vs. rules, understanding reporting and problem solving the data, cleaning up Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable anomalies and cleaning up Balance Sheet misallocations.
