CERF: Initial High Road Transition Collaborative meeting

NORTH STATE CERF TEAM TO HOLD FIRST VIRTUAL
HIGH ROAD TRANSITION COLLABORATIVE (HRTC) MEETING

The North State CERF team is excited to announce that as of May 31, 2023, the North State Planning & Development Collective (the Collective) received its fully executed contract from the state. Our team is currently finalizing the contract between the Collective and its CERF Co-Convener, the Sierra Institute for Community and Environment (the Institute). The North State CERF team is also coordinating next step activities, timelines and deliverables required from the state over the next few months.
 
On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, the North State CERF team will hold its first virtual High Road Transition Collaborative (HRTC) meeting. The HRTC is the participatory body of the North State CERF initiative. This meeting is open to the public and will be recorded.
 
What to expect:
·    Updates about the CERF program including pre-development and implementation funds
·    Required deliverables regarding the regional plan and process
·    Identified timeline for activities including committee structure (Steering Committee, HRTC, Sub-Committees)
·    Stated next steps
 
Who should attend:
·    North State community members, organizations and leaders
·    Those interested in helping shape the future of the North State
·    Anyone interested in learning more about the CERF initiative and next steps
·    Information about in-person HRTC meeting later this summer
